1. About this policy

Hypnautic is an app for relaxation and sleep support, offering ambient soundscapes, guided meditations, hypnotic visual experiences, and a personal Dream Journal. This policy describes how information is handled when you use the app.

2. Dream Journal information

Information you choose to enter in the Dream Journal, including dream titles, descriptions, and dates, is saved locally on your device using application storage. Dream Journal entries are not uploaded to a Hypnautic-operated server, and the developer does not receive or access their contents through this feature.

3. How information is used

Locally stored Dream Journal information is used to display and manage your journal entries within the app. The app also processes information on your device as needed to play audio and display visual experiences. Dream Journal content is not used by the developer for advertising or marketing.

4. Advertising, analytics, and third-party components

Hypnautic does not intentionally integrate an advertising network or a dedicated analytics service in the current version. The app uses third-party software components to provide its functionality, including audio playback, local storage, and visual rendering. Some information may be processed by the operating system or software components as part of normal app operation.

5. Storage, backups, and security

Dream Journal entries are stored in the app's local storage on your device. They are not encrypted separately by Hypnautic. Device security features may help protect locally stored information. Depending on your Android device and backup settings, application data may be included in operating-system backups or restored to a device. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Retention and deletion

Dream Journal entries remain in local app storage until removed using available app or device data-management options. Clearing the app's storage generally removes locally saved journal entries. Uninstalling the app may remove local data, although backed-up copies may be retained or restored according to your device's backup settings. 7. Children's privacy

Hypnautic is a general relaxation and wellness app and is not specifically directed to children. We do not intentionally request personal identifying information from children through the Dream Journal feature.
